Yusuf al-Qardawi, President of World Union of Muslim Scholars, joined other Islamic leaders yesterday in condemning the attacks, and also in pointing the finger of blame at an unknown foreign hand. He didn't go so far as to say that the Zionists were behind it, but he did say that it didn't make sense for a Muslim to be behind it. It's also interesting to note that the Muslim Brotherhood's official English-language website has a story on al-Qaradawi's comments, but in their translation they leave out al-Qaradawi's statement about how he doesn't think a Muslim was behind it.
